Voices Choir...

• Is an independent choir, drawn from almost twenty schools and colleges covering a fifteen-mile radius from Derby.
• Membership (maximum 40) is by audition.
• Repertoire spans 5 centuries from Renaissance motets and madrigals to folk, pop and jazz arrangements, and includes commissions by Bob Chilcott and Gavin Richards.
• Rehearsals include intensive vocal coaching using the Estill Voice Training System - Voice Craft. 
• Aims to develop an all-round aural and musical awareness.
• Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings in Derby, 5.30 - 7.30 at The VoiceBox. There is a modest subscription.

• Perform extensively around the Midlands and in London.
• Enjoy an annual overseas concert tour (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Lake Geneva,  Black Forest and Holland)
• CDs issued in Autumn 1998 and Autumn 2005.
